The Charthouse is a cozy get-a-way, built in Cape Cod Colonial style, and situated with water on both the North and South sides of the property. A canal, offering great night fishing under the lights, and easy access to the ICW, runs the length of the North side of the lot. To the South, the protected wetlands of Old Caney Creek are accessible by kayak, canoe, or flat-bottom boat at low tide, offering excellent crabbing, bird watching, and source of live bait. During high tide, tidal waters flood these grass flats bringing in lots of hungry, large game fish.

Inside the Charthouse:

The Charthouse sleeps 8: The master bedroom has a queen size bed plus a small sofa. The 2nd bedroom holds one set of bunk beds. In the great room, there is a full size sofa bed, and a full size futon. Kitchen: A fully functional kitchen plus microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, blender, electric skillet, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, linens, and automatic dishwasher. Dining Table seats 6. Satellite TV in the great room and master bedroom. Laundering any of the linens used is not required, and will be handled at no additional cost after tenant checks out, provided linens are not stained, torn, or otherwise damaged. Towels are provided for indoor use only. Must bring own beach towels.

The Charthouse Great Outdoors:

Rental includes full use of fishing lights over a private dock on the canal, crab traps, outdoor furniture, “Old Smokey” barbeque pit, outdoor fish cleaning table, and boat slip. Visitors must provide their own charcoal and lighter fluid. Crab traps are to remain tied securely to the dock, and should be left on the dock, empty, and in working order at time of checkout. A free boat ramp pass to Caney Creek Marina is provided upon request.

Rental Rates and Conditions:

Weekend $150.00 per night

Weekday $110.00 per night

Weekly $650.00

If a holiday falls within a rental period, there will be an additional $100.00 charge. A minimum two-night stay is required. Please call at least one week in advance of your stay to ensure availability.
