Thank you for inquiring about our "Dream Cottage" on the Gulf of Mexico. We are located at 1787 Intercoastal Drive, Sargent, Texas, on the intracoastal water way to the Gulf of Mexico, where you can lay back and daydream on the deck as you watch the tugboats and barges go up and down the intracoastal to their destinations. Fish off the dock or take your boat out to the gulf. Bird watch the 1000’s of bird species in the most heavily bird populated county in the US. Or just lay back and sip your cold drink as the clouds pass by. 

We have a professionally designed cottage right on the inter-coastal waterway with a view of the Gulf of Mexico that we rent for that special week or weekend getaway. Everything is new and ready for your visit. 

Sleeps 6 persons - 1 Queen Bed, 1 Full Bed and 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa.

We want to provide you with the vacation home of your dreams where you can relax and enjoy your vacation.  We want you to care for our home as if was your home and will want to return to time and time again. 

When making your reservations please have in mind the exact dates and number of people who will be using the cottage.  

There is a sleeping capacity of 6 persons (this includes each child).  To exceed this capacity compromises the septic system and safety considerations.  Any damages that result from this will be taken out of the damage deposit and any balance will be billed to you and payable within 14 days. 

Rental Rates and Fees:
Peak Season May 1st – September 30th
$1395.00 week (Monday thru Sunday) 
$735.00 Weekend (Friday thru Sunday)

Off Peak Season October 1st – April 30th

Processing Fee: $25.00 Mandatory for fee for all guests. Cleaning Fee: $75.00

Making Reservations: 

We require ˝ of the rental fee and the $25.00 processing fee within 10 days of the reservation and the remaining rental fee and $75.00 cleaning fee is due 30 days before your arrival date.  These payments may be made by credit card which will immediately be processed to hold your reservation and take the cottage off the market for the specified time.  Otherwise we will not hold your reservation as you requested until payment is received.  We will then send you an agreement / credit card agreement form that we need for our records. If reservations are made less than 30 days before your arrival date all fees are due at time of reservation. 

A damage deposit of $300.00 is required to be received in our office within 7 days of your reservation.  This fee can be paid by check, which will be held until your visit is complete and if no damage occurs it will be refunded to you within 10 working days.  

If you cancel your reservations you are still liable for payment for reserved days because we could of rented the cottage to others.  If we are able to rent the cottage for the days of your reservation we will refund you 85% of your money or at your request we will hold your money and change your reservations to open dates. 

Hurricane Policy:  In the event of an issuance of a COUNTY MANDATORY EVACUATION, we will prorate your rent and credit you for the number of nights that you could not occupy the cottage.

Family Environment: 

We rent to families and accept reservations ONLY FROM ADULTS.  No prom, Spring Break, Graduation Groups chaperoned or un-chaperoned  will be allowed to rent the cottage.  We will make no exceptions and no keys will be given to anyone but an adult.  If security discovers groups, overcrowding or damage, all parties will be asked to leave immediately without refund.  Overcrowding could result in loss of your deposit. 

Maintenance: 

We make every effort to keep the cottage and it’s equipment in good working order.  In case of breakdown, we will strive to repair the problem as soon as possible.  We cannot Guarantee air conditioners, televisions, VCR’s, appliances and such even though they are all new.  No refund or rate adjustment will be made for mechanical failure.  (Charge Backs could be charged for unnecessary maintenance calls). 

Cottage Rules: 
No Campers, Travel Trailers, RV’s or ATV’s will be allowed on the property. No additional electrical hook ups for any purpose. 

No Pets. 

No Smoking inside the Cottage. 

No grills allowed on the deck. 

DO NOT feed the birds, they will flock around you and leave unwanted gifts for you.

We are not responsible for any injuries or deaths that may occur while at the cottage.
