ISLAND BEACH RETREAT-BEACH HOUSE FOR RENT

Spacious beach home with open floor plan. Located beach front on Sargent Island, no paved roads or boardwalks to cross just walk through the front yard and you are on the beach! Remember to bring your fishing poles! Not only is there a public boat launch available down the road, the surf fishing is incredible. Right on your doorstep is fishing, shelling, bird watching, crabbing or just enjoy the surf! Come put your feet up on the beach front deck and enjoy an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico and Sargent Beach. We want to provide you with the vacation home of your dreams, where you can relax and enjoy your getaway.


In Sargent you will find excellent restaurants, churches, and fire and ambulance services. Good places to fish and lots of bait!


DESCRIPTION

Island Beach Retreat offers 3 bedrooms: 1 queen/1 double/1 king (linens provided)
1 bath (bath towels/hand towels/wash cloths for in house use only)

Large living room overlooking the Gulf of Mexico/Sargent Beach

Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, range/oven, refrigerator with ice-maker, coffee pot, 4-slice toaster, blender, fryer, crock pot, pots, pans, utensils, dishes/coffee mugs/glasses, flatware, kitchen linens)

Wide deck with porch furniture.

Rental Rates:

Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend:

Minimum 2 Nights

Friday/Saturday $325.00 per night

Sunday-Thursday $225.00 per night

Weekly $1200.00

Monthly rates upon request

*3 night minimum on holidays

*To avoid a cleaning fee please leave the home as you found it!


Off season (excluding holiday):

Minimum 2 nights

Friday/Saturday $250.00 per night

Sunday-Thursday $175.00 per night

Weekly $1000.00

Monthly rates upon request

No Credit cards. We accept cash/check/money order. Security deposit of $250.00 for up to a one month stay. Security deposit of $500.00 for a stay of one month or longer. Deposit will be refunded within two weeks after your stay is completed. Deposit will be refunded in full if nothing is damaged or missing and the home is left as you found it. Please sign and return the rental agreement.


Until reservation is confirmed and deposit is received, rates are subject to change.


Reservation is not confirmed until rental agreement and security deposit are received. Rent is due no later than 21 days prior to arrival.

We enjoyed our stay in late December very much. Sargent Beach is so peaceful and secluded. Nothing to do but relax and walk the beach. The house was great. With all the blinds open I had to wear my sunglasses in the house! Thanks for letting us bring our two dogs. Look forward to another visit.

WOW! What a fabulous view! The house is very comfortable and equipped with anything you might need. The crabbing was especially good. Beaches are full of shells. Would definitely come back again given the opportunity. Thanks for sharing your lovely house.

As we just booked our 2008 summer rental we just wanted you to know we had an absolute wonderful stay at your retreat.it is spacious and so well equipped.We stayed there last set 2007.It was so peaceful enjoying the sunrises on the deck overlooking the Gulf and surf.The house was clean,great decorations and so enjoyed the fireplace....so cozy,,,,not a thing left to be desired.Great meals and priced right at the local restauranrs.My husband caught a huge redfish right in front of the house...made his vacation....Highly recommend this rental...If you don't have a great time..it's your own fault....Thanks to the owners,,,Carol/Sept 2007

We spent the latter part of December at Island Beach Retreat. It was wonderful. The views are spectacular. Sargent Island is probably the last place on the Gulf that is not in any way crowded. As for the house, it was very roomy and comfortable. Bill and Carleen have gone all out to think of and meet every possible need a guest could have. Oh, and the Krusty Pelican was a great place to dine.

Our family has stayed here twice and are going to visit again in September. We absolutely love this place. It is quiet, uncrowded and beautiful. We feel very safe about having our children playing out and about the house, which couldn't be more clean and comfortable. We feel very at home and relaxed when there.

Our family really enjoyed staying for a few days during the first week in June.It was safe enough for our little ones to go outside and really enjoy. We really enjoyed the peace and quite and a basically empty beach that we could walk up and down without bothering other people. We plan on doing this again in the future.
